I took advantage of living close to Amelia Island and signed up for the photographers conference Click Away 2018 that was held at the beautiful Omni Resort. I met up with several friends that I had met in Seattle when I went to this conference in 2016. I also met many new online friends in person for the first time. We were inspired by the presenters, loved talking with like minded creatives and probably stayed up too late each night. Part of the conference is getting to attend smaller classes where we get to shoot along with the instructor. Since we were at the beach and I love shooting my kids when we visit the beach I made it a point to sign up for a sunset beach family session. This one was instructed by the fabulous Shalonda of Chubby Cheek Photography – she is out of Houston, Texas and if you are ever in that area look her up for a family beach session. She was great in sharing tips with us and then we all got to shoot this beautiful family. Here are a few favorite images from that session.
